This program is not eligible for funding under the Illinois Veteran and Illinois National Guard grants. These grants apply only to programs that assess tuition and mandatory fees. NIU Continuing and Professional Education is licensed to deliver this program by the sponsoring professional organization. The registration fee for this program is not based on tuition and fees. It includes course materials, licensing fees, catering services and instructional costs not covered by the IV and ING grants.
The FMP and the ProFM programs are approved for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding if the candidate is unemployed or underemployed, or has recently been released from active military duty, is seeking employment and lives in Illinois.
